Two educational organisations have expressed their views over recently announced changes to UK visa openings for international students. The institutions have claimed they will damage the UK's appeal.

Visit Britain, the UK's national tourist authority, has substantiated that a record number of Middle Eastern tourists came to Britain on a UK tourist visa in 2011. They are expecting the same trend to continue in 2012. The number of tourists visiting the UK is supposed to go up considerably with a full schedule of events in summer 2012.

UK is working closely with Pakistan to tackle illegal immigration from the country, says Home Secretary Theresa May. She was welcoming the Pakistan Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, to the Home Office.

Immigrants will be supposed to learn English, be aware of the British way of life, and the children will be educated in a "common culture. Communities Secretary Eric Pickles intends to indicate an end to the strategy of multiculturalism. In its place, children will be educated in a "common culture".
